Airex Corporation Celebrates Five Year Anniversary in State-of-the-Art facility built to accommodate new business units and growing linear motor market.
Somersworth, NH- September 2010-Airex Corporation is pleased to celebrate the fifth-year anniversary commemorating the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Somersworth, NH. The facility was completed in 2005 as a means to support business units established to respond to customer demand.
The company recognized a need to move to a single facility to continue to provide clients the ever increasing levels of quality that distinguish Airex products. "We recognized our business units have diverse needs and responded with a structure that was best suited to support them," said Jim Sedgewick, President of Airex. The company has positioned itself to take advantage of the growing linear motor market segment and the new facility allows the space and technology to support these efforts while continuing the high level of service Airex is recognized for.
The ISO 9001:2008 certified location was designed to support four primary Business units, including Linear Motor, Custom Actuators, Contract Manufacturing and Design Services, by allowing both collaboration and autonomy. With interlinking technology, a single location is a key success factor in streamlining processes and supporting real-time communication between the units. "The new facility is an investment that will allow us to champion individual business units while focusing on our customers," said Jim Sedgewick. "After five years we have established a single facility that provides a firm foundation to achieve optimal results for our clients."

When asked how she manages customer's needs and the daily coordination that comes with her role, Betsy Cozine, Operations Manager advised "each Airex customer has specific technical and delivery requirements.
