Airex Corporation announces RoHS compliance.

Somersworth, NH- June 30, 2006 In an effort to support customers and new business opportunities in the European market, Airex has completed an assessment of products and has certified materials for our Linear Motor products that meet the requirements of the RoHS Directive. Airex products certified to meet the directive will be free of or contain no more than the permitted quantities of the following hazardous substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated dipheynl ethers.

The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive requires new electrical and electronic equipment to conform to a reduced level of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame-retardants.

The RoHS Directive will apply to medical devices, monitoring and control instruments, large-scale stationary industrial tools, spare parts for the repair or reuse of electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market after July 1, 2006, but not to equipment relating to protection of essential interests of state security, weapons, ammunition and military equipment designed for specifically military purposes, power generation, or to other exempted applications due to technical reliability or safety reasons.

Airex will continue their high quality tradition in both customer service and in the products they provide to end-users. Through these core principles, they provide innovative, timely, high quality products and services to a worldwide
customer base. Airex will continue efforts to meet the RoHS material restrictions for products in which compliance is not required as soon as practicable.
